Ingredients
Yield: 40 Dates
40 - half slices of Porscuitto di Parma or Proscuitto San Daniello
40 - whole roasted almonds
2 Cups - Cabrales
40 - large, whole pitted dates
2 TBSP - olive oil
2 oz - balsamic glaze
Instructions
- Stuff each date with an almond and about a 1/2 teaspoon of cabrales.
- Wrap with half slice of proscuitto.
- Drizzle with olive oil and bake in 400 degree oven about 10 minutes until the proscuitto begins to crisp and cheese begins to melt.
- Remove from oven, place on serving platter and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
